Toast•a Branding & Visual Identity

Toast•a started as a college passion project inspired by the simple request, "please toast me a bread" or "cook an egg for me and toast it". Originally named "Tosta", this concept envisioned a Filipino cafe that evokes the warmth of those wholesome morning breakfasts we once had as kids. It's a reminder to savor life's simple pleasures, just the way it should be.

The first iteration of the logo featured three toasted breads, symbolizing the founders who envisioned a cafe showcasing reimagined Filipino flavors.

After a year of operation and valuable learnings, the team embarked on a logo redesign. The initial drafts explored ways to increase brand recognition and memorability. Feedback from surveys played a crucial role in shaping the final concept.

The current logo prioritizes simplicity while retaining the core symbolism of the original - the core aspect of the concept and the collaborative spirit of the founders.

Toast•a is more than just a cafe; it's a celebration of good food, good company, and the enduring power of good memories. So, whether you're yearning for a taste of childhood or simply seeking a unique and delicious dining experience, Toast•a welcomes you with open arms (and a perfectly toasted slice of bread, of course).

But the magic truly unfolds on the menu. Toast•a takes classic Filipino comfort food and elevates it to new heights. Ube Spreads that resemble miniature works of art, their vibrant purple hues a feast for the eyes. Innovative Buko Pandan creations offer a refreshing twist on tradition. Yema, swirled with creamy leche flan, beckons alongside familiar favorites like Peanut Butter and Chocolate
